I've recently canceled my subscription to Hello Fresh because I'm convinced that every food can be enhanced once you put lemon in it like in 95% of their recipes. Lemon zest on pasta, a squeeze of lemon on chicken, lemon on veggies... yeah, I'm that dude now.

How about lemon on Pop Tarts? Not a new concept at all with some updates to the overall style of box and tarts which I'm questioning immensely. How the fuck could you take away this beautiful design and replace it with this? I loved LITERALLY EVERYTHING about the old ones; the party lights, the flamingo, the glass of pink lemonade, the cartoony grass and the entire Pop Tart with the pink frosting and pink/yellow sprinkles all replaced with this? Ugh... sorry Pop Tarts but what were you thinking?

So, pink lemonade.... a flavor that goes so well with a couple of ice cubes on those insanely hot summer days. Does it Pop Tart? Well.... honestly I don't get much pink lemonade from it at all, which is surprising. You'd think with the accuracy of the Froot Loop Pop Tarts that they'd have nailed something like this. What I do get is your basic strawberry Pop Tart with the absolute slightest, almost unrecognizable hint of lemonade. I haven't tried the original but these just ain't it.

Now I'm stuck with a bunch of Pop Tarts and a box that isn't even that cool but I'll probably still end up keeping it until I die. Rating? I'm going to go 3 out of 10. The flavor was extremely underwhelming... not that I think I'd have enjoyed a pink lemonade Pop Tart that much if it was stronger but I would've at least felt like I tried one. Thanks for reading!
