Meet Honey Cutt - our band of the month!
We had a chance to speak with Honey Cutt – a Boston based band with some tunes we think you’ll really dig. How long have you all known each other, and when did you decide to form a band?
We have been playing together for about 2 years. I (Kaley) started the band recorded the first record and set out to find a live band. I met Ari 3 years ago and Chris 2 years ago.
Where did the name Honey Cutt come from?
It’s our singers last name!
What are some of your favorite venues to play, and what's the craziest thing to have happened at one of your shows?
I love playing at Great Scott in Boston. It’s a cozy yet spacious spot! We’ve had some great shows there.
The craziest thing as of yet had to be a drunk person at a show in California. He got on stage and dove onto his friend who did not catch him. He dove straight to the ground and dislocated his shoulder or broke something I think. Unfortunate....
We caught your show in October of 2018 when you opened for Bully, what was that experience like
That was such a wonderful experience. I really look up to that band and I love that venue. We made new fans and of course Bully ripped it!! It was a very special show!
What's one big goal you all have for Honey Cutt?
Landing a support tour with a band I look up to would be amazing! We love touring and we wanna stay on the road as much as we can!
If you could collab with any musician from any genre, dead or alive, who would you pick?
Probably Dolores O'Riordan who was the singer and songwriter from the Cranberries. Rest In Peace <3

If you had to pick ONE fighter from Smash Bros. that encapsulates the spirit of Honey Cutt, who are you choosing?
Definitely Kirby because we are cute and silly yet powerful. Ice climbers in close second though!
