Pickle Rick Pringles Review!
Wubba lubba dub dub! Pringles decided to bless us with pickle flavored chips fronted by Rick Sanchez as Pickle Rick! Let's grab our portal guns and warp right into these bad boys!
If you're unfamiliar with the series, Rick and Morty is an Adult Swim cartoon following the misadventures of 14 year old Morty Smith and his eccentric scientist grandfather Rick Sanchez. In Season 3 episode 3, entitled "Pickle Rick," Rick turns himself into a pickle to avoid his families group therapy appointment claiming he doesn't have a way to turn himself back into his human form. And Pickle Rick is totally badass! From using insect and rat body parts to assemble arms and legs for his pickley exterior to brutally taking out several compound guards, what more could you want from a humanoid pickle? Anyway, on to the Pringles!
The pickle green can features Pickle Rick artwork with a wide open mouth smile as well as Rick's classic blue unibrow and the Rick and Morty logo at the bottom as well as the words "Limited Edition" slapped below that. You know me, I needed it just for the packaging alone. It works very well for a pringles can! Upon opening, these things are potent to the ol' sniffer! I love dill pickles so I'm already stoked to try these. The taste is definitely as potent as the smell, but not to the point that they're unbearable. I could eat an entire can with no problem other than maybe hating myself later after taking a look at the nutrition facts. Maybe it's just my taste buds making sense of dill pickle flavored chips but these taste a lot like deep fried dill pickles from Perkins restaurants. Add a little ranch dressing and you have an equally unhealthy version of deep fried dill pickles.
All in all, I give these a 10/10! The flavor.... they nailed it. Add that to a franchise like Rick and Morty in a limited edition product, you've got yourself a winner! What do you think about the new Rick and Morty "Pickle Rick" flavored Pringles? Let us know in the comments!
