It's becoming more and more clear each day that the theme for this holiday season is all about sugar cookies. We have sugar cookie M&Ms, PEZ, Hershey Kisses and, in this review, Ghirardelli Squares. I guess it makes sense. I'm just surprised at how many new sugar cookie items we have at once. And dont get confused; I will absolutely eat all of it. At no point are any of these statements complaints. These are a Target exclusive I believe so eBay I went and here we are.
Fresh out the package, they smell sort of buttery and with a bit of vanilla. The vanilla hits right away as you bite but then the sugar cookie pieces change it up a bit to a nice buttery fresh baked cookie. The sugar cookie pieces mesh so well with the white chocolate and the crunchiness of the sprinkles bits is a nice touch to a traditional square. Can't argue the sugar cookie flavor much as these have actual sugar cookie pieces in there.
In conclusion, Sugar Cookie Ghirardelli Squares receive an 8.5 out of 10. They're pretty good and, among all the sugar cookie flavored things I've had, they're in the top 10 at least. Thanks for reading!
