THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE: A GRIMEY INTRO TO THE HOLIDAYS!

LET’S GET MERRY!

Grimey

I feel like just yesterday I was putting up jack-o-lantern scarecrow heads and handing out candy. I usually dive right into the other two most important holidays the day after Halloween but I spared anyone who might disagree and waited until now to say that I have already consumed as many as 10+ gallons of various branded eggnog and feel absolutely no shame. What I'm trying to say is, ready or fucking not, the holiday season is here and in full swing!

With that out of the way, we all know this season is probably going to suck a little more than the usual drunk uncle letting you know what he really thinks about you; family get togethers, holiday events, Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade (which was pretty interesting to say the least) ....most of what we fully enjoy this time of year no longer being celebrated or “reimagined.” While probably only 5 of you are actually reading this, fear not you 5 beautiful beings! As always, here at It’s DemBoys, you can expect to see all types of festive bullshit to get you through with some of the best offerings we can muster up.

You already know that we will be risking at least one type of diabetes by consuming all kinds of different holiday junk food to review for your reading pleasure. And, let me tell you, this season has something for everyone, even if we didn't ask for it. Speaking of which, In case you missed it the day before Thanksgiving, we tried the ever so disgusting Turkey Dinner Candy Corn from Brach’s which you can watch HERE. You might even wish you didn't see this one but if it's the only somewhat interesting thing you get to see this year, we’ll be glad to say you were here seeing it with us.

I feel like one thing I try to do every season to keep it interesting is try something new. Whether it's a food or an activity or whatever you can think of that doesn't include murder or something that can land you in the slammer, give it a try! For instance, for the first time, I made pop corn garland this year. I've always seen it, always read about it and watched quick videos on how it's done but never made the leap until now. Granted, it's 2020; jamming a needle and thread through 1 million little pieces of 2 day old pop corn didn't sound like such a bad idea. It had it's charm and it looks damn amazing without even trying. Ever hear of Toys for Tots? Perhaps you're new thing for the year could be donating to a charity like that or something similar. Every little bit helps. CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN DONATE TO TOYS FOR TOTS.

The holidays are the perfect time to reflect on the past and, let's face it, chances are we all have time for that at the moment. Maybe you have a favorite song or recollection of a great gift you received as a kid? At least a couple of us will be sharing a few things that resonate most with us and the holidays through the season whether it be old Christmas movies, music, commercials, ads, recipes, traditions or simply babbling about good memories of Christmases past.

Need a few more last minute gifts? Look no further! Check out the store and see what exciting new gear we've cooked up! In specific, Home Alone fans rejoice with this slick new Little Nero’s Pizza line designed by our very own Derek Laganelli! We got the jacket, snapbacks, winter hats; things that not only keep you warm but also let people know you're not fiddlin' around. And that's just brushing the surface of what's new in the store! With all that said, we hope you enjoy what we have in store for you all this season. It's been a funky year and it keeps getting funkier as we go but allow us to be a distraction from all that for a few moments of your day. And, as always, thanks for reading!
