"Twist the bones and bend the back"; exactly what I thought I'd be doing looking for these fucking cookies. LUCKILY, the closest Walmart has decided to step their game up and get all kinds of seasonal goodies this area seems to miss out on. So, you can imagine my excitement when these showed up.

Hocus Pocus cookies consist of oatmeal peanut butter cookie dough with chocolate morsels and Halloween colored candy-coated gems (aka fake M&Ms). So, a relatively normal cookie. These cookies are not to be eaten raw but I decided to anyways because you have a better chance scoring with Sarah Sanderson than getting salmonella. The directions: preheat oven to 325°, pop em in for 13 to 15 mins (I went 12 mins) and enjoy. 12 mins seemed to be the sweet spot; brown around the outside edges and soft to the bite.

The verdict? They're OK. A little more peanut butter in the mix would be appreciated but the chips and gems make up for it greatly. They're decent cookies but I think I could do better; without the Hocus Pocus artwork, they'd be a pretty normal product. Backed by something as huge as Hocus Pocus, you'd think they would've done something a little different to really play up on that theme. Of course, this is all being said as I continue shoveling them in my food hole. Thanks for reading!
