Everyone who knows me is well aware of my video Yule Log obsession. From it’s humble beginnings where it was scoffed at by the masses & dismissed as stupid, we sure have come a long way in regards to ‘log acceptance’. To prove my point, I did some digging around and uncovered FOURTEEN weird Yule Logs, all streaming right now for free on YouTube.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife

A controversial movie that divided a fan base (big shock), Ghostbusters Afterlife got a fun little Yule Log tie-in on the official Ghostbusters YouTube channel in 2021. Starring the cute little Stay Puft man reading and melting by a fire, this one puts a smile on my face. 10/10.

Beavis & Butthead

Based on an episode from the 2022 revival series, you can now watch Beavis stare at a dumpster fire for close to three hours. Gotta love it.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

You don’t see much of actual Sonic throughout this one, but you DO see a blue blur zip across the screen, as decorations appear out of thin air. He’s decking the halls! What a guy.

A Very Merry Rickmas (rick & morty)

It’s what you’d expect from a Rick & Morty Yule Log. Not my favorite, but if you’re into the show this should be right up your alley.

Shrek’s Yule Log

Our favorite, onion-like Ogre has his very own swamp themed yule log. Idk about you all, but I’ve basically been waiting all my life for this. Truly blessed that it exists!

SMILE (HORROR movie)

Yes, the new-ish horror movie from Paramount that just keeps getting talked about. It was okay, I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it. Cool that it got it’s own Yule Log, regardless.

Backstreet Boys

Well, they’re not *NSYNC, and they’re more like Backstreet Dads at this point, but I guess it’s still cool that this exists? The room they’re in is kinda bland, though.

Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Ozzy

A little barebones, the log literally just being a fireplace and the Ozzman’s logo, but hey, I support the Prince of Darkness!

ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD

I kinda love that AVGN has his own Yule Log. In typical nerd fashion, he’s using shitty video games as fuel for the fire.

MINECRAFT

Speaking of video games, I really love this one. Minecraft is weirdly one of my comfort games, so it’s extra cozy knowing that I don’t have to do a damn thing and can just sit back & watch a pixelated fire.

HAWKEYE

I hate Jeremy Renner and his dumb face, so there is zero chance I’ve seen his show or this Yule Log. You might like it though.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Speaking of comic book logs, for some reason Sony gave the Venom sequel it’s very own Yule Log. Weird, but I respect it.

Philadelphia Phillies

I’m not a big sports guy, but I respect the hell out of a mascot. Lucky for you, this features arguably the best baseball mascot around.
